DMI has been selected as part of the consortium for the EICACS 2 EDF project, led by Dassault
The European Commission has officially made public the selection of the EICACS 2 proposal (European Initiative for Collaborative Air Combat Standardisation 2). This 36-month development action represents a total estimated investment of €53,968,998.17 aimed at defining the future of European air combat.
As a member of the consortium led by Dassault Aviation, DMI joins a high-profile group of European industry leaders. This includes partners such as Airbus Defence and Space, Leonardo, Indra, Saab, and Thales.
Implementing AI Standards for Collaborative Combat
EICACS 2 builds on the foundations of the initial EICACS project to enhance European forces via native collaborative features and interoperability standards.
DMI’s role is focused on the implementation of standards for AI in Collaborative Air Combat (CAC). By applying our expertise and unified ecosystem to these standards, we help ensure that advanced AI-driven features are both economically and operationally viable for the long term.
This work is critical to enable European technological sovereignty and allows European industries to shape future NATO norms.
